Half the world’s population lives in the Asia-Pacific region. Reaching such a large and diverse audience is an enormous challenge. Changing behavior and motivating them to take positive action to solve our planet’s problems is even bigger. Both would be impossible if The Media Alliance was working alone. But with the partnerships of our media outlets, ad agencies, donors and affiliate organizations, we are able to meet these challenges. In the process we strengthen the work of partners in sustainable development, tackling social issues, improving our children’s future, and helping to preserve as much of our natural environment as possible. The Media Alliance builds relationships that enrich the multiple sectors and stakeholders that we bring together.
The Media Alliance conducts public service advertising campaigns with the help of volunteer ad agencies who donate their creative talents and marketing expertise; the print and broadcast media who contribute – for free – valuable ad space and time; individual journalists, video producers, creative designers and development sector professionals who donate their time to help produce and distribute content and messaging; and the philanthropic support of corporations and foundations who provide the crucial operating funds. Through these partnerships The Media Alliance is able to bring to the public the important messages of dozens of multi-lateral and international organizations.
